Who am I?

I’m Linda Storey, otherwise known as 'Top Floor Design', a Graphic Design company. My approach to work and my clients is always friendly and dedicated. I believe a happy and healthy lifestyle has a positive effect on creativity.

I combine a Graphic Design life with tennis, cycling, yoga, Kinesiology and teaching Reiki – all of which gives an important life-work balance, much to the overall benefit of my clients and myself.

My career as a Graphic Designer spans over 30 years.

Children’s books have been my focus for many years. Magazine work across a range of pharmaceutical and women’s titles in London provided a stimulating and fast-paced work ethic.

Being part of in-house teams and freelance for many different companies has given me a fascinating insight into ‘behind the scenes’. A background of trouble-shooting, technical knowledge and exceptional English skills ensures a high standard every time.

Here are some of the clients I’ve had the pleasure of working with, both in the UK and Australia:

BBC Children's Books, Campaign for Real Ale, Disney, Dorling Kindersley, Egmont, Harper Collins, Letts, Macmillan Publishers, Marks & Spencer, Mars, Mattel, Inc., Merlin Entertainments, Natural History Museum, Pearson, Rubik's Cube, T-Mobile and WH Smith.

Why do I love Graphic Design?

Creative brains never stop evolving, always thinking, moving forwards, seeing new possibilities. It’s what motivates and inspires my days. Creating something unique from an initial brief, then holding the finished article is something to be proud of.

When do I work?

I love early mornings. They’re quiet, the sun is rising, the air is fresher. Sometimes I have to work unsociable hours to meet deadlines, although when hard work is needed, it can be immensely rewarding.
